02.01.10 - New additions to the "Artists" page, Including Peter Holmström of the Dandy Warhols.  Peter is currently recording with the VFX-Overdrive Pedal.

11.17.09 - VintageFX and The Icarus Line frontman Joe Cardamone are working together on a new signature pedal that will hopefully be completed soon. In the meantime, Joe has been putting VFX pedals to good use recording their latest CD.  Check out "We Sick" on the VFX Media Page to hear one of the new songs recorded with the VFX FuzzRiot Pedal.

11.17.09 - VintageFX has entered an agreement with Stonelake Guitars.  They will be handling the distribution of VintageFX Pedals for the APAC; Australia & India Regions.

Since 2003, VintageFX has been  dedicated to providing musicians with an interest in getting vintage tone from a quality pedal, without having to shell out a small fortune that vintage gear seems to go for these days.

 -Quality

Each & every pedal is hand made in the USA, by myself from the ground up.  When possible I use the highest quality components to ensure a finished product that should last you many years.  Use of 3PDT switches enables VFX pedals to incorporate “True Bypass”, which means that when the pedal is off, there is ZERO degradation or change in the signal from your instrument.  Machined aluminum knobs are standard, so there is no chipping or cracking like plastic knobs sometimes do. My pedals are housed in a sturdy Hammond 1590BB enclosure, that has  proven itself as the standard in the industry as far as solid construction, EMI/RFI shielding etc.  I play and test every single pedal I sell, if I’m not happy with it, it doesn’t go out.

 -Price

 VFX prices are quite in line with many “Name Brand” pedals and lower than most “Boutique” pedals. My goal is to keep any piece that I sell, priced as low as possible.  I try not to spare any expense on any part that might affect the tone / sound of the effect itself.  I hand prep;  powder-coat & label the enclosures myself to keep cosmetic costs low. 

-Warranty

Officially, every pedal sold will come with a standard 3 year full replacement warranty for the original purchaser.  Odds are, that if you contact me @ anytime; I will do whatever it takes to get your pedal in good working order again.  Exceptions are; problems due to misuse, or any pedal that has been modified from the original design.  If taken care of properly, my pedals should last for many years without any problems.
